Eberhard Dodt

Memorial Award

This award was established in memory of the life and the work of Eberhard Dodt to encourage young scientists in the field of the clinical electrophysiology. It will be given to the scientist aged 34 years or younger (on January 1, 2002) who makes the best presentation at the ISCEV Symposium, in the judgement of the Adjudication Panel. The Dodt award carries a $400 honorarium, and $600 traveling fellowship for use at either of next two ISCEV symposia. Candidates must indicate their eligibility on the abstract and registration form in order to be considered for the award. The candidate must be the presenting (first) author. Submissions may be either paper or poster, and both will be considered, equally by a jury of evaluators and an adjudication panel composed of ISCEV board members. The primary criterion is scientific excellence, although innovation, clinical applicability and quality of presentation will be taken into account. All applicants are strongly requested to stay at the Symposium till the very end when the winner will be announced and the award presented.
