Instructions for presentations at ISCEV 2002


Letters of acceptance are sent out by mail from the 27 May 2002. If you need it quicker for some reason (visa, etc..) then the ordinary mail, please contact us and we will fax you a copy.


Oral presentations
Oral presentations will be limited to 15 minutes including discussion time. Moderators will enforce the time limitation to keep up with the programme.

Audio-Visual information
Computer data projection will be available using Microsoft “Powerpoint” software.
Different carriers are 3.5” diskette, ZIP-disk or CD-rom. Feel free to bring your own laptop.
Single slide projection will also be available. There will be a preview room at the symposium site.
To ensure that all your audio-visual needs will be met, please make sure to fill in the appropriate section on the abstract submission form.

Posters can be 100 cm wide and 100 cm high at maximum. The acceptance letter will specify the times when the poster is to be set up and removed and the period when an author must be in attendance by the poster. Prizes will be awarded to the best posters. Some authors of posters, selected by the programme committee will be invited to give a brief oral presentation of their work in “rapid fire” poster presentation sessions, if they have indicated willingness to do so in the appropriate abstract form box.
The preference for 1) poster presentation or 2) oral presentation or 3) poster/oral presentation must be indicated on the abstract form. The programme committee will try to satisfy the preference.

Abstract submission deadline : April 30, 2002.

On-line abstract submission:
From February 15 to April 30, 2002 the homepage www.kuleuven.ac.be/iscev has an on-line abstract submission facility. Please do not wait to the very last day to submit your abstract on-line.

Abstract submission by mail:
Abstract forms from this booklet or downloaded from the web-site should be filled in respecting all the guidelines and be mailed, not faxed to the secretariat. Faxes are not suitable for reproduction and will not be accepted.

Letters will be sent before May 31, 2002 to notify the first author of acceptance together with the time schedule of the presentation. The abstracts will be published in the programme book of the Symposium which will be available on site.
